My Story

After losing Dad early in 2019 after a lengthy battle with numerous types of cancer, I decided to do something about my health & wellbeing whilst at the same time raising some money along the way to give back to Cancer Research UK who with the help of our amazing NHS managed to keep Dad alive a number of years to share some amazing memories. I decided to start running, something I hadn't done since school & set myself an initial goal of completing couch to 5km, once I completed that I set myself a fairly daunting task of 500km by the end of 2019! Well I completed that in September and changed that up to 750km which I have now also completed. In 2020 I will be setting myself the target of running 1000km & completing my first half marathon - I will be keeping a track of the kilometres on Strava so you can see I'm not just making it up & doing a series of events throughout the year. https://www.strava.com/athletes/235714 Thank you to all of you who have already sponsored, I'm incredibly grateful to you & wish I could thank you all personally.
