My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m doing the April Dog Walking Challenge for Stand Up To Cancer to help fund life-saving research. Please show your support by making a donation to my page. Your cash will support researchers to get new tests and treatments across the line faster, so more lives get saved. As many of you know my dad passed away at the end of 2023 due to bowel cancer. He had only been diagnosed earlier that year. It sucked then and it still sucks now. He wasn't the perfect father but he was my father and one of my best friends. He was my gig buddy and a legend that was taken far too soon. I'm not going to lie I would probably take the dog for this amount of walks in a month anyway, but if it raises money to kick cancers ass then why wouldn't you donate? Edit: I vastly underestimated how many miles 60 is, especially fitting in around 12 hour shifts so this may actually be a challenge 😂 If I help even one person get diagnosed and treated earlier than my dad did then I know I've done something good and he would be proud of me. Rock on 🤘
