Believe Tour 700

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Giving Page. Many of you who know me, knew Steve. Kind ,generous, hardworking and funny. His strength of character was inspiring. I talk to him more now than i did before he was taken from us, because he was always there until he wasn't and i carry the heavy regret of not doing more together as much now 4yrs later after his passing. Life goes on, then a certain Mr Sinfield pulls on his running shoes to run for his mate Rob Burrow and it inspired me. Kevin ran 7 marathons and the cycling equivalent would be 7 100mile rides. Though I'm not new to cycling this is more than I've ever done before and question myself many times about whether this is just a silly idea born on sentiment. This is the the point I stop and look around me, family is great, I am so fortunate and I am so enjoying my work. This is the right time to answer the last word Steve left me with...Believe The challenge is to complete 7x 100mile cycle rides within the 7 days of the week of Steve's birthday during the month of June 2021, cycling across and around Lincolnshire. I am fortunate enough to have my brother and some friends crazy enough to join me on some of the days. Magical memories to be treasured will be created when riding with my youngest daughter and brother and by the end of the week when I'm so dead on my feet I reckon my eldest daughter will be able to run along side me those final miles. Should I ever falter my loving wife Kate will be out there road side when she can to lift my spirits and my mom and dad both battling their own fights at the C club back at home making me homemade egg and chips tea to see me through.
