My Story
I'm running this 5K to raise money for Cancer research UK. Cancer is a very cruel disease which took my Grandad away from me and the rest of my family. He was our hero, our inspiration, our everything. We miss him more and more every single day. Cancer is a disgustingly cruel disease that needs to be treated. I am running to raise money to KICK CANCERS BUTT!!! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
