I'm taking part in The Race for Life at Home to help beat breast cancer
Our lovely and beautiful friend Fiona has sadly been diagnosed with breast cancer and is due to commence chemotherapy at the end of April. Cancer has definitely picked the wrong person as she will kick it's ass. Due to covid constraints, things including fundraising are very different at the moment. However, a few of us will be taking part in the Race for Life at Home to help raise vital funds. Fiona has no idea that we are doing this so I am sure it will be yet another emotional surprise for her. Please do support us if you can. After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's why I'll be taking part in the Race for Life at Home. Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
