I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner.

A very close friend of mine lost her mum very suddenly last year. I saw first hand how this disease can tear families apart - I’m trying to help and the best way I can think of right now is to raise money to try and make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else I love. Cancer affects each and every one of us, personally I’ve lost two grandparents to this awful disease and can’t help but think how the advances in science already today would have given me more time with them. Wish they could see me do this race for them x

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

Less than a week to go until race day! I have been training in the gym on the cross trainer and the bike. (I don't really like running on the treadmill-or in general!) Tutu's have been delivered and are ready to be worn on Sunday as well!
