My Story
I HATE getting wet and muddy and have never been much of a runner. However, having lost my beloved godmother, Aunty Margaret to cancer 3 years ago and watched her, my auntie Pat and my dear friends Ruth and Bex endure the horrific side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy over the past few years, I feel doing Pretty Muddy with my work colleagues is going to be easy in comparison! My proper training will start once the Easter holidays are over to ensure I'm in tip top shape ready for the race at the end of June. Every donation, no matter how small, counts! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
