My Story
I’m taking part in Shine Night Walk to support my lovely friend Tasha who has recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Tasha is being fierce and fighting through operations and chemotherapy, she’s amazing! 1in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime but it’s still a real shock when it happens to one of your besties. I’ll be walking as part of a team of lovely friends, it feels like a great way to support Tasha and others who are affected by cancer. Thank you so much for donating xx
CAUSE
Ovarian cancer
Each year, around 7,500 people are diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the UK. That’s 21 people every single day. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat ovarian cancer.
