My Story
In August I will be aiming to cycle 250 miles to raise money for cancer research. Cancer has affected nearly all of us at some point in our life’s and on a personal note I’ve lost my grandad from cancer and had people close to me affected by it, this is why I want to try and raise money so that more research can be done and we can take further steps towards finding cures etc for this horrible disease so that not as many people have to suffer from this horrible disease. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
