Becca's Race for Life

Raising money to help fund cancer research is a way for me to say a one last thank you to all those in my family who have suffered and passed throughout the last couple of years to cancer. My gran (who everyone knew as "sasa" 😂) fought past breast cancer, not once but twice and gave all that she ever could to her two grankids. My brother and I to this day miss her ( and her Michael Jackson chips!) Enormously. Coming up to my grans birthday, we then lost my auntie liz (known as biba) to lung cancer. To watch her suffer, being unable to eat, or perform any day to day functions which we all took for granted broke my heart. It broke her families heart where she had to leave behind three sons, a loving husband and beautiful grandchildren. Cancer has caused so much pain to my family and also dear friends of the family. Seeing people suffer breaks my heart, regardless if I knew them or not. I believe that everyone deserves to live a happy and healthy life and with your help, I hope we are one step closer to eliminating cancer! Bring on the mud and happiness!!!! 😊
