John Fredrick Cole
My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page, I have chosen to raise money for Cancer Research because it is close to my heart. In early 2016 my Grandpa, John Cole, was diagnosed with cancer, sadly passed away in March 2016 after a short battle. I am determined to raise money for Cancer Research UK in his memory by doing this challenge, at the same time I will complete my volunteering section of the Duke of Edinburgh.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
