In memory of
My mum Christa Kaminski (1940-2005)
Thank you so much for supporting me! So - why am I doing this run? Those of you who know me well - I don't really like running, so this is a bit of a challenge for me. But one I'm happy to embrace whole-heartedly, because cancer has affected so many people dear to my heart over the years. 12 years ago my mum lost her fight to pancreatic cancer, and just over a year ago my mother-in-law too. BUT - I also have a couple of friends who've kicked cancer's butt. So this run is dedicated in memory and in honour to all of them. If you can be there on the day to cheer me on over the finishing line - amazing, but if not, I'd really appreciate your support through encouragement, prayers and any donations you are able to make - because it really DOES make a difference. So thank you again & God bless, Bea Some facts by Cancer Research UK: 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
