My papa
My Story
Two special people in my life both suffered from the same cancer within a few years of each other. Both my papa and grandad were diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma, but after an operation and a long road to recovery I am so thankful to have them both here with me today. I never thought for one minute my family would ever have been effected by cancer but unfortunately we were effected twice. I am doing this to show them how proud I am of the struggle they have been through and to help raise money to help fight this nasty illness.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
