My Story
10 staff members in Baylis Court have committed to walking 10000 steps a day for the month of March in order to raise much needed funds for Cancer Research UK. Every member of staff has been touched directly or indirectly by cancer and this is our chance to raise funds to continue the fight on behalf of loved ones we have lost. So you will see the staff members involved taking the long route to the classroom, or walking in circles around the school to make up the steps each day. Every pound is crucial in fundraising to beat cancer

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
