My Story
Cancer is happening right now, you never think its going to be one of your family member or friend that it will affect, it only when a loved one is diagnosed with cancer it really hits home. My dad was diagnosed with cancer 6 months ago and is still fighting the battle. The support received for dad from family and friends has been truly amazing. What is even more amazing is the amount of work the nurses, doctors, health visitors, hospital and research centres have done and are doing to get rid of this horrible disease. me and Simmy are taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work so can I please ask our family and friends to support us on this great cause and sponsor us xxxxxxx Your sponsorship for this good cause would mean everything to all those fighting and those who have fought this battle. ‘Help Cancer Research UK improve results even faster.’
