My Story
We all have a story where cancer features as the main event. Some are victorious, others are of loss. This Spring I am running the Bath Half Marathon in memory of my beloved Pops.Ten years ago this summer my wonderful Dad died having fought to the bitter end against bowel cancer. Having never entered a half marathon nor specifically run in his memory I thought I would combine the two this year. Pops loved sport (but I don't think he'd be joining me doing this one) and live sport even more so. This is my chance to run for him in a buzzing, exciting atmosphere in this beautiful city whilst raising money in his name too. What better way to honour the great man that he was. So, please help me bring about a future where cancer in people's stories is not the main event, but a non-event. A nothing; where cancer stories are full of victories or don't exist at all.
