Positive thinking

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I'm sure most of us seen some cancer research TV spots saying that one in four of us will be affected by cancer. One way or another. Well ...I've never thought it would be me. Yet at the beginning of February I was diagnosed with myxoid liposarcoma a rare soft tissue tumor in my right leg. No one is prepared to hear this sort of news. I was no different. My head was spinning around and suddenly I was bombarded with cancer news all day long. Radio TV internet was full of it. "Person X has died, person Y diagnosed etc". It was very hard to stay calm and stop thinking about it. At this stage please let me say big thank you to all medical staff I came across. They are doing so great and I'm so thankful to all of them. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose!
