My Story
Please donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. 20 years ago I lost my Dad to brain cancer. From collapsing on the living room floor, to passing away peacefully in St Oswald's Hospice; it took only 3 months but felt like an eternity, he was only 64. We miss him dearly and in his memory I decided to take part in the Great North Run. Well, sadly, the Great North Run event had to be cancelled (understandably). However, I'm still determined to run a Half Marathon somewhere somehow and to raise money for such a wonderful cause. I'm no long distance runner let me tell you, so this really is a challenge...one that started on the 1st Jan 2020. We MUST find a cure, every family has their story to tell...please donate. THANKYOU!!
