I got through this first week of the new treatment but unfortunately can’t make it to the race. I’ll be with the gang in spirit thinking of them getting sweaty/muddy from the couch. Good luck guys 💕

Dear family and friends. As you know, 2 1/2 years ago I was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given a very short life expectancy. But here I am still, generally feeling great and enjoying a good quality of life. My most recent radiotherapy treatment has resulted in the smaller, but more problematic, of my tumors starting to shrink which is fantastic news. So, I have signed up for another Cancer Research Race for Life on Saturday July 27th at 10.30am and I hope that as many of you as possible will join me on the day or sponsor me. I realise of course that you all have important causes close to your hearts but would appreciate, as always, any support you can give. I am sure that the work done by Cancer Research has contributed to me still being here today annoying you all!! With love and thanks for your love, prayers and support. Barbi xxxxxxx
