Cycling 300 Miles in July
My Story
This July I will taking on the enormous personal challenge of cycling 300 miles in 31 days to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. This is equivalent to cycling an average of 10 miles per day. July is the month of the 3 week Tour de France, this years' edition is a total of 2071 miles, so I will only be covering 14% of the TdF race! I will be riding for both family and friends: 1. Who have lost their battle with cancer, especially friend Dawn, who passed away in April 2022, a few short months after diagnosis. 2. Who are currently living with cancer, 3. Who have undergone treatment and now live cancer free. Woo! Cancer Research UK fund vital research that have helped double survival rates through early detection, developed pioneering new drug therapies and support cancer research teams throughout the UK. If you are able, please support my efforts, by donating whatever you can to my page. You can follow by journey through my Facebook posts https://www.facebook.com/hawkhill or via the updates on my fundraising page.
