I’m taking part in Shine Night Walk to help beat cancer

Hi All!

I am doing doing the Shine London 10K walk with my best friend, Elise, on 21st September and would appreciate any donations big or small.

Elise's dad (Papa) has recently been diagnosed with Bowel Cancer for the second time in his life and I would like to raise as much as I possibly can to donate to the Bowel Cancer UK charity. Science and doctors have come a long way since he last had cancer, 14 years ago, and I’m hoping that the more we raise, the more we can help people beat this awful disease or find new ways of controlling it.

Thank you :)

Cause

Bowel cancer

Over the past 40 years there's been dramatic progress in tackling bowel cancer and half of people diagnosed will now survive for at least 10 years. But with bowel cancer still claiming around 43 lives each day, more research still needs to be done. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease.
