My Story

Myself, my best friend Michaela and my Mum Jane are hoping to raise as much money as possible for cancer research. Cancer research holds a massive place in our hearts. We sadly lost my auntie and my mums sister Pauline to terminal lung cancer in December 2025, Pauline was such an amazingly strong lady and we are so proud of how she took everything in her stride and still has a massive smile on her face and still made us all non stop laugh, pauline previously had breast cancer and fought hard and was able to ring the bell. Michaela lost her mum Ann in February 2025 after a short battle with cancer, Ann had previously had breast cancer and fought so hard. Ann ended up having a double mastectomy and rang the bell and got the all clear but unfortunately the cancer came back in other areas of her body and as hard as she fought unfortunately the cancer was to advanced and we all had to say our goodbyes to a much loved Mom, Gaga, sister & auntie. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
