My Story
On 8th November, Roger Allen, Group CEO of RLA Global, will run the Athens Classic Marathon for Cancer Research UK, dressed as Batman. Athens was a deliberate choice. When Pheidippides ran 42 kilometres to deliver one message "We won!", he showed that sheer human faith and endurance can overcome the impossible. That spirit feels exactly right for cancer research. Roger chose Batman for the same reason. Not a superhero by birth, but by choice. Showing up, whatever it takes. Few people go through life untouched by cancer in some way.
