My Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. During my practice as a GP, I have had the privilege of looking after people who battled through cancer. I have seen the direct positive impacts of the research that has had on so many lives not only improving the outcomes but in some defeating cancer itself. Cancer research’s work is vitally important to have more treatments that not only improve outcomes but save lives. I’m running 62 miles in March to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
