Cancer has no bias, its is a devastating disease that effects everyone. Me and my family are running the 5K Race for Life to help support those affected by Cancer. We are running for the incredible people in our lives who have been effectes by Cancer. My Nana and Uncle Ken lost their fights with cancer and we miss them everyday. We are also running to support my amazing Uncle Dave who is currently fighting his battle with Liver Cancer! As a nurse I am also running to support all the brave people I meet everyday who are affected by cancer or supporting their family members going through cancer!

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
