Ashleigh's Race for Life
Cheshire - Tatton Park Pretty Muddy 5k 2018
Sat 23 Jun 2018
I'm taking on a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to raise money to help cancer research.
My Auntie K has always been my role model, 'surrogate mam' and best friend. I have watched how brave, selfless and strong she has been since she was diagnosed with cancer last summer. It has been an unbelievably tough year and I am happy to say she is very well and back at work as our much loved GP in Salford. She has had overwhelming support from her family, patients and friends. She clearly has helped so many people in her time, both in and out of her work, and she is held in such high regard. I could not be more proud of my Auntie. I signed up for Pretty Muddy the day she had her first haircut as I want to continue to raise funds to help those who need support. I am lucky to be partaking in this with my amazing friend Donna, who has also supported me throughout.
