My Story

Thank you for visiting my Fundraising page. Hello, my name is Ashleigh Jade Farr. I am going to be fundraising for cancer research by shaving my head and donating my hair to a charity which makes wigs for children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions. I will be doing this on Thursday 3rd June 2021 and will be live videoing it so everyone can share this journey with me. During this global pandemic we have pushed aside one of the most terrifying and common killers. CANCER. Screening have been reduced yet the threat it still as high. Finding cancer early is crucial in the recovery process. So please do your own regular check and go to any screening and examinations regularly. STAY VIGILANT! 1 in 2 people will develop some form of cancer during their lifetime. If anyone is thinking of a haircut, please consider donating it to the Little Princess Trust. They also fund pioneering, life-saving research into childhood cancers. They use hair donations and fundraising money sent to them by their amazing supporters, to manufacture and fit their beautiful real hair wigs. Established in 2006, they have supplied over 8000 wigs to children and young people and have invested £5 million into ground-breaking childhood cancer research
