Cheshire - Tatton Park Pretty Muddy 5k 2026

Sat, 27 Jun 2026 - Sat, 27 Jun 2026

My Story

On Saturday 27th June, we (Ashlee and Sarah) will be taking on the Tatton Park Pretty Muddy 5K to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Many of you will know that Charlotte Wilbraham (Ashlee’s cousin and Sarah’s daughter) was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, a very rare form of cancer, on 1st August 2025. The news completely broke the hearts of her family and friends. Since her diagnosis, Charlotte has shown incredible strength, courage and determination. Through countless trips to London for treatment and all the challenges she has faced, she has continued to amaze and inspire everyone around her with her positivity and fighting spirit. She truly is a warrior. We’re taking part in the Pretty Muddy 5K not only to raise vital funds for cancer research, but also to raise awareness that cancer is affecting people and families every day. Charlotte will be there on the day, filming us and no doubt having a good laugh as we struggle our way through the mud! This challenge is also very close to our hearts because we are doing it in memory of Gail Wilbraham (Ashlee’s Nana and Sarah’s mum), who sadly lost her battle with cancer on 6th December 2019. Gail was loved by so many and was known for her famous motto: “NO SAD FACES.” Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Cancer Research UK continue its vital work and support people facing cancer today and in the future. Please help us raise as much as we can for people like Charlotte, for those we’ve lost like Gail, and for everyone currently facing this disease. Thank you so much for your support. ❤️
