My Story
Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer in one way or another. After seeing the effects of family members suffering from this terrible disease, I have decided to do what I can to raise money so others can be helped in the future. Research to beat cancer is entirely funded by the public so thanks to your generosity, scientists, doctors and nurses are leading the world in discovering new ways to fight cancer. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
