My Mum - Juanita Anderson
22nd Aug 1952 - 30th Apr 2018
My mum was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in April 2017. Despite undergoing aggressive chemotherapy treatment her tumour continued to grow and on 30th April 2018 she lost her battle. The average survival rate for pancreatic cancer is only 6 months. Cancer is happening right now and has affected so many people and their family or friends. It has touched almost everyone. By raising money to help with research maybe one day we can save the lives of many which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
