My Story
Cancer is happening right now, there are around 375,000 new cancer cases in the UK every year, that's around 1,000 every day (2016-2018). In females in the UK, there are more than 182,000 new cancer cases every year (2016-2018). In males in the UK, there are around 193,000 new cancer cases every year (2016-2018). There are now 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK and 1 in 2 people in the UK born after 1960 will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime. The situation isn't all doom and gloom - around 4 in 10 cases could be prevented, that's more than 135,000 every year.I strongly believe that Everyone of us can do simple things to make a difference, which is why I'm taking part in a 'Race for Life - Pretty Muddy' to raise money and save live. Iam requesting to give what you can - Every Little Counts ! As Mother Teresa once said - “We know only too well that what we are doing is nothing more than a drop in the ocean. But if the drop were not there, the ocean would be missing something." Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s ground breaking work, so please sponsor me and Cancer Reasearch UK now.
