My Grandad Sandy and Nanny Eleanor
It's probably safe to say, pretty much everyone knows someone who has been affected by the dreaded big C. I was super lucky for a long time and it hadn't affected me directly until I was in my 30's and started losing older close family members. And as you start getting older, your perspective on life changes. After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, I want to help do my bit and raise a little money to help fund the vital research needed. I am all for alternative therapies too, but I guess every little helps when it comes to Cancer and it's what you believe in. So, a fabulous group of ladies I will be taking part in a Very 2020 Race for Life and walking our own 5k on Saturday 26th September and dressed in our pink gear!
