Getting up and running in memory of the ones that we have lost and ones that we are trying to help beat cancer.
My Story
It’s official! I will be running the London Marathon next April for Cancer Research UK. I am excited about the challenge ahead of me and proud to be representing a charity working so hard to beat this awful disease. Like many of you, I have lost people to cancer and will be running in memory of my friend Aron, my Aunty Margaret and My Uncle Freddie but I am also running with the hope that my contribution will ensure many more people win their battle and combat this disease. My aim is to raise a minimum of £2000 for this worthy cause and over the next 6 months I will be asking for your sponsorship and support at various fundraising events. If you can’t support me financially, I would be really grateful if you could share my post and encourage your friends and family to help me out. Wish me luck! I have a lot of training to do and it’s a long way to run! Thank you all! x

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
