My Story
So, our brilliant team said "we want to do a 10k run", then they said "we are going to do it for Cancer Research", then they asked the question I was dreading "you'll do it with us wont you Ant?". Well, with such a fantastic team, doing something for a charity that is close to my heart, who was I to say no? I now have new trainers, I have the desire, and whilst I don't have the shape or fitness I should have, I am going to give it a go. I have never asked for donations before. But there is a first time for everything please feel free to donate. I would be grateful for anything you would be prepared to spare: UPDATE: THE DONATIONS TO THE OPTIMUM TEAM WILL BE MATCH FUNDED 3 x up to £1000. 9 of our brilliant team will be running the Bristol 10k on the 19th September. In my thoughts will be my Nan (Violet Harris), my friend Steph Edmonds and my Mother-in-laws twin sister (Barbara Newton), who lost their lives to cancer. My superhero cousin Rick Evans, who fought cancer and won. And my good friend Sarah P. who is fighting cancer and winning.
