My Story
I will be running the Great north run in Newcastle on 8th September on behalf of Cancer research UK. As some might know my mum, Christine Cockram/Hooper passed away on the 9th December 2002 after a long battle with Cancer. She never let it get her down and carried on with life supporting myself and my sister. So I want to give something back, and hopefully raise some money for charity. If you know me, I'm not built like a runner, far from it! But I will do my best to cross the finish line. Any support would be very grateful. Many thanks.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
