I was not able to share before that I'm taking part in the Oxford Race for Life as part of the team "I lung for a cure" in memory of my beautiful friend, Bev Gardner. On 1st May 2019, I had to have a cancerous growth removed and have just had my 6 week post op check where I was given the go ahead to take part. Cancer is affecting too many people we love and Cancer Research UK need every single donation, however small, to support finding a cure for this horrible disease. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
