Thank you for visiting my Giving page. I'm taking the opportunity of raising money for Cancer Research UK while running the Great North Run this year. Sadly we will all almost certainly have our lives touched by cancer in some way at some point. If I can raise some money to support research to improve survival rates, it has to be good. Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
