I'm lucky, cancer has touched my family but not taken anyone. I don't understand the ins and outs of how it works but I know that thanks to the reaseach they're doing I can run with my Mum and not in memory of her. And I can say my Nanny beat breast cancer twice. But I know others aren't as lucky. I'm never going to be a scientist who can help find a cure or more sympathetic treatment so this is my way of saying thank you, so that other people get to be as lucky as me.
CAUSE
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
