I'm lucky, cancer has touched my family but not taken anyone. I don't understand the ins and outs of how it works but I know that thanks to the reaseach they're doing I can run with my Mum and not in memory of her. And I can say my Nanny beat breast cancer twice. But I know others aren't as lucky.
I'm never going to be a scientist who can help find a cure or more sympathetic treatment so this is my way of saying thank you, so that other people get to be as lucky as me.
