I'm fundraising in memory of my dad
Sun 21 Apr 2019 - Thu 25 Apr 2019
I'm wanting to fundraise in memory for all the loved ones that have been taken from the dreaded disease. So, I’m fundraising with The Great Stand Up To Cancer Bake Off gang.
In memory of
Trevor Wright
In March last year my mum and I had concerns about my dad as he was losing weight and not eating. He told us to stop fussing and that he probably had a virus. Eventually we managed to get him an appointment. He was seen by the specialist and after numerous tests in the April we were told on May 4th that there was nothing the hospital could do. He had stage 4 cancer. It was in his throat, bones, liver and had now reached his pancreas. On May 22nd 2018 dad saw his last sunrise. Dad wanted to die when the sun was rising and the birds were singing, and as everyone knows with this awful disease the only thing you are left with in the end is choice. But thankfully that is one thing the cancer did not take away (his final wish). It was a glorious sunrise and the birds were singing their morning song. Pancreatic Cancer is the biggest killer, please donate to my cause so that together we can enable valuable funding into research. Thanks for all your donations, however big or small x

Stand Up to Cancer: LIFE-SAVING RESEARCH
100% of the money you raise goes towards speeding up life-saving research. Every day, scientists and researchers work tirelessly to beat cancer. But lab researchers will not get us there alone. Every penny raised helps speed up breakthroughs in the lab, transforming them into new tests and treatments for patients who need them. The research you fund will help us see 3 in 4 people in the UK survive their cancer by 2034.
