My Story

We are taking part in the race for life in honour of Our lovely Annie. We were all devastated when Annie was taken from us on the 28th of December 2018, she was my Godmother, my Mum and Dad’s best friend, my best friends Mummy, the best Mum to her beautiful ‘magnificent seven’, nanny, sister, aunt, friend, beer drinker, party lover....the list is endless, Annie was the kindest lady you could ever hope to know. We are so lucky to all have such fond memories of Annie and when we get together and share stories we laugh and cry and thank Annie for being the glue that has and alway will hold us all together. We will always miss Annie and we want to do everything we can to keep helping others just like Annie always did. On the 9th of June we will dress up like complete ‘ejits’ and with smiles on our faces we will do our bit to help raise money and awareness for something that is so close to so many of our hearts these days and when we are finished we will be sure to raise a glass or two the our lovely Angel Annie who will be enjoying a beer up there with her Tom and hopefully having a good old giggle at all of us. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
