My Story
Thanks for visiting my first public fundraising Challenge page. I will take on 200 skips a day in February to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Last year, I had the privilege of meeting incredible women undergoing various breast cancer stages, survivors and most recently, someone close to me diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. They have inspired me to take on this Challenge to support a charity whose research is focused on beating all types of cancer for everyone. The statistics show that in the UK, 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime; just let that sink in. Let me repeat, 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime, so I am raising money and awareness to help fund ongoing life-saving research. The Challenge for February is to do 100 skips daily, which will be 2,800 skips in total. You can clearly see my fitness level is at zero if you have watched my first video. Please show your support by donating and sharing my page for others to do so too. p.s I will be doing another fundraising challenge next month, so keep your eyes peeled for that, and if you want to join me on any of my fundraising challenges, please let me know; the more, the merrier to raise funds and spread awareness.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
