I’m raising as much as I can to beat cancer.
In memory of
Gwen, Pat, Gerald and Melvin
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I’m fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate to my page today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. My mum was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 18 years ago this month. Her wish was to see her newly born grandson get to primary school. This year that grandson goes to uni and she will be there waving him off with the rest of us! We are lucky to have my mum still here but cancer has affected our family with both my aunts and both my uncles having been taken by this disease in the last twenty years. All too soon. I won't be running a marathon, I won't be running the 5k, but I will complete it in my own way with my best friend. This is my way of helping to raise money to give another grandson precious years with a precious grandma. Let's beat this thing! Xx
CAUSE
Breast cancer
With almost 140 women diagnosed every day, breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. And, although rarer, around 350 men are also diagnosed with breast cancer every year. The good news is more than two-thirds of women now survive 20 years or more. Help Cancer Research UK find new ways to diagnose and treat the disease.
