My Story
For my "60th Birthday" I wanted to do something out of my comfort zone & give something back to my wonderful family & friends. When I suggested a skydive to Andrew, he said" but you hate heights!" (which is true). Next day he was doing a job for our youngest daughter Sam and she said "I'll do it with Mum". He came home and said "if you two and doing it, I'm not missing out!" So we asked our eldest daughter Laura & she agreed too!!! So now it is a family day out, the day before my 60th! Cancer Research UK is our chosen charity because we all know someone who has had or is going through cancer treatment. It's a disease that effects everyone who knows the patient; family, friends & work colleagues and we all want to do something to help but don't always know how? There is no simple way to eradicate this disease, but if we all give what we can be it £1 or any denomination of money, then just maybe one day there is a chance.......... Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. In the last 50 years, Cancer Research UK’s work has helped double cancer survival in the UK. But we need to go further, faster.
