I hope one day no more lives are lost to cancer.
Aged 31 and I was told I had breast cancer. One day I hope no one will ever have to hear those words again. I hope for kinder, more effective treatments. Most importantly, I hope for a cure for this terrifying disease. Cancer doesn't discriminate against gender, age, race or religion - it can happen to anyone, anytime. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
