My step-aunt who sadly died of throat cancer.
After a year where vital cancer trials have been delayed, the Race for Life is more important than ever. That's why I'll be taking part in a Very 2020 Race for Life. I think every single one of us know someone or who have suffered ourselves. I myself had a cancer scare myself but fortunately the tumour was benign. One of my closest friends bravely fought and won her fight against cancer.

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
