My Story
My Mum had a battle with cancer a couple of years ago leading to her eternal rest. I remember her each day- strong, witty, full of life and notoriously funny, her love - irreplaceable! She had a fighting spirit until the very end. In honor of her remembrance this year, I walk and shine to beat cancer in the best way I know, hoping that more patients will beat cancer in many ways that she couldn't. Each year Cancer Research UK’s scientists get closer to beating cancer, and they’ve helped double survival rates in the last 40 years.
