My mum
Cancer has affected my family, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life Pretty Muddy to help raise money and hopefully save lives. Yes it is easy to run around a park having a lark with your friends... But hopefully I can help raise awareness of the work Cancer Research does and raise a few pounds too. Apparently 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.. Please help me support Cancer Research, so that other families can be spared the effects of this dreadful disease in future..xxxx

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
