Anne's fundraising page-Bears' team

Dear friends, first of all a warm thanks for taking the time to visit this fundraising page. I am always slightly confused when it comes to fundraising - because there are so many important causes and the one I really care for (Cancer Research UK) today, isn't necessarily the cause everyone would like to donate to. In the course of the last year and a half, cancer has taken the life of 4 of family members who have been fighting their disease very graciously. And I know that I am not alone in this situation. If there was a cure or some better forms of treatments, that would enable many lives not to be cut short so painfully. I felt and feel very helpless but what I can do is contributing to and supporting this wonderful cause with some good sporty efforts (which will never be any near as painful as having cancer) and raising money towards the extraordinary Cancer Research UK. Thanks for reading me and for your contribution - even the tiniest one! - you will not only cheer Felix and I up for Sunday 9 July but essentially bring a light of hope for people who have no choice but to fight!
