I'm going vegetarian this November for Cancer Research UK.
Thank you for visiting my Cancer Research UK Veg Pledge page. This November, I will be going vegetarian for Cancer Research UK. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Few months back, my mum was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I know how hard it is for the patient and patient’s family to acknowledge the fact and to learn that somebody’s life will never be the same again. It was a very hard time for my mum and us as her family. Most of us experienced cancer within our family or friends. Cancer can get to anybody and to stop that we need to support actions like this to help the scientists in their advancements. I am CU Medical and Pharmacological Sciences student and after finishing university I would want to work within cancer research. So please support if you can :)

Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
