My Story
I’m doing the race for life for Jean and Jane... two amazing ladies who have both battled their illnesses with incredible strength. My grandma Jean was diagnosed with breast cancer in the October of 2008, since then she has amazingly made a full recovery, and we are so grateful for having her here with us. Jane’s story is far more recent, with her diagnosis in 2017. With the amazing support of her family, Jane is now also recovering from her chemotherapy with her most recent check up showing her count to be really low. Words cannot describe how much I admire their courage and determination. Cancer affects everybody in different ways. Too many are being affected in fact. Raising money to be able to make a difference and one day to be able to help everybody beat it is such an important thing to do.
